Public measurement / Your choice

Analytics & Privacy

Raise The Signal works without analytics. Optional measurement stays off until you allow it.

What can be measured

If you choose “Allow analytics,” this site loads Google Analytics 4 for public pages only. A pageview includes the public page title, a broad page type such as home, archive, or note, and a URL with its query string and hash removed. External referrers are reduced to their origin.

What stays off

Google advertising storage, ad-user data, ad personalization, personalization storage, functionality storage, and security storage default to denied and remain denied when analytics is allowed. Raise The Signal does not send email addresses, message content, or URL query values to analytics.

Your control

Use the “Analytics settings” button at the bottom of any page to allow or decline analytics. Declining prevents Google from loading. If you previously allowed it, declining stops future hits and removes this site's Google Analytics cookies. The choice itself is stored locally in your browser so the site can remember it.
